Pizza balls with ham and cheese

Tasty and easy to make these pizza balls with ham and cheese are a great idea for any buffet or party. I made them for a buffet I prepared for a football evening at home and our friends loved them. But I am sure they are a great choice for kids’ parties and of course a perfect snack for work or school. You will need just a few ingredients to make them and you can freeze the dough, so that you can do them whenever you want! I filled them with ham, cheese and some tomato sauce with oregano, but you can actually fill them with whatever you want, such as hazelnut spread or even leave them without any filling and eat them with some butter.

The quantity I am giving you makes 2 pizzas or approximately 20 pizza balls. Depending on how small you will do them, you can have even more. Ok, let’s start:

Pizza balls filled with ham and cheese

Ingredients:

500 gr. flour
15 gr. salt
10 gr. sugar
8 gr. yeast
350 ml water

Ham – cheese – Tomato sauce – Oregano

Method:
1. Mix the flour, salt, sugar and yeast for a minute
2. Add the water and mix until the dough does not stick to the mixing bowl
3. Add some flour and knit the dough with your hand until it is not sticky
4. Divide the dough into two balls and let them in the fridge for 30 minutes

Each ball can make a pizza or 10-12 pizza balls At this point you can also freeze the dough and use it whenever you want!

5. Take a piece from the dough, open it and place some ham, cheese and tomato sauce
6. Close the edges giving it a round form
7. Before you put them in the oven brush them with some olive oil and oregano
8. Bake at 200 degrees Celcious until they have a nice color
