5 Steps for Perfect Summer-Ready Legs

We women definitely love enjoying a professional manicure and pedicure or body peeling at a beauty salon. How often do we however have time to indulge in this luxury, or how often can we afford it? Unfortunately most of us not that often. For this reason we have put together a 5-Step Guide of how to achieve the perfect summer-ready legs at home.

First Step: Peeling

Peeling helps remove the dead cells from your skin and reveal the new ones below them. Use a peeling 2-3 times a week. Apply an adequate amount to cover your body and massage using circular motions. Then rinse off with lukewarm water.

You can alternate between two different kinds of peeling. A normal one, which just removes the dead cells and smooths the skin and one which helps against cellulite. Use the last one to the areas where cellulite mainly appears, such as thighs and buttocks.

Second step: Hydration

During the shower our body loses a lot of water and a long hot shower can dehydrate us. That’s why you should always remember to apply a moisturizer as soon as your skin is dry. Whether a body butter, a lotion or body oil, the important thing is to offer your body the hydration that it needs.

For areas like thighs and buttocks, which need some extra care use an anti-cellulite product on a daily basis, like this one from Natura Siberica.

Third Step: Happy Feet

Especially during the summer months our feet need some extra care, since they can seem dry and cracked. Use an extra peeling while in shower, like this one from Yves Rocher as well as a pumice stone or a foot scrubber to remove any hard skin.

Then apply a deep hydrating foot cream. Our favorite ones are this one from Sabon with menthol and Camphor as well as the Natura Siberica foot cream.

Once a week indulge into a foot mask, like this one from Sephora

Step 4: Beautiful nails

Cut and file your nails and if you like add a summer color on them.

Step 5: Show me your legs!!

Do you have a special occasion ahead? Then don’t be afraid to add some extra glow for the perfect summer legs!

Tipp!! The days you wear open shoes don’t forget to add a good quantity of cream every night before you go to bed. This will help repair any dryness caused during the day!
