3 easy and delicious Greek dips for the perfect barbecue and for every other occasion. The traditional tzatziki with or without garlic, a spicy cheese dip with roasted and fresh red pepper and a tasty feta cheese dip with green pepper and fresh spring onions. Here are our 3 easy & delicious Greek dips!
Red pepper – feta dip
Ingredients:
200 g feta cheese
some olive oil
1 roasted red pepper
some red pepper flakes (depending on how spicy you want your dip)
40 g cream cheese (Philadelphia)
1 TBSP yoghurt
some fresh red pepper cut into small cubes
Method:
1. In an electric chopper / food processor add the feta cheese in chunks, the olive oil, the roasted paprika, the pepper flakes, the cream cheese and the yoghurt.
2. Mix well to combine all the ingredients. If necessary add some extra olive oil.
3. In the end add the small cubes of the fresh red pepper and mix again
4. Mix everything again with a spoon and your dip is ready to serve!
Greek yoghurt dip (Tzatziki)
Ingredients:
250 g greek strained yoghurt
Some salt
Some extra virgin olive oil
Some chopped dill
80 g grated and well drained cucumber
Some garlic (optional)
Method:
1. In a bowl mix the yoghurt with the rest of the ingredients until you have a smooth dip. Here you go. Ready to serve!
Greek feta dip
Ingredients:
200 g feta cheese
some olive oil
50 g cream cheese (Philadelphia)
1 TBSP yoghurt
1 long green pepper
some fresh spring onions (you can use both the white and the green part)
The green part of the spring onions to decorate
Method:
1. In an electric chopper / food processor add the feta cheese in chunks, the olive oil, the cream cheese and the yoghurt.
2. Mix well to combine all the ingredients. If necessary add some extra olive oil.
3. In the end add the small cubes of the green pepper and the onion and mix again
4. Mix everything again with a spoon and your dip is ready to serve!
